Facilities at the Railway

This page shows the facilities at the Railway.

Car parking and toilet facilities are provided for railway visitors at Pitsford and Brampton station.
The Platform 3 Buffet offers a selection of hot and cold drinks as well as a variety of light refreshments and snacks.
The Railway Souvenir Shop is located on the platform where a wide range of gifts, books, etc. can be purchased.
Private Charters and Educational Visits
- The railway can offer private hire of trains for birthday parties, receptions or corporate entertainment. School parties, youth group and society bookings are also welcome. Please ask at the booking office for further details.

- For the latest information on forthcoming events and current timetable information call (01604) 820327 (24 hours). This number will be answered on operating days.
Museum (currently closed awaiting additional work before re-opening).
"The Emporioum" second-hand bookshop stocking a wide range of titles.

Privacy Policy

This gives details of what information is collected from visitors to the website, and how it is used. No information which could be used to identify an individual is collected without that individual's permission.

Server Logs: Whenever a page, image, or other document is requested from the server by a visitor's web browser, a log is kept which lists information such as the date, time, IP Address, Browser type, and referring URL (if any). These logs are not accessible by the public; only the site administrators can view them. This is standard practice on all Web Servers, and logfiles are deleted automatically after 7 days. Site Meter: This site uses the services of sitemeter.com as an extension of the basic "web counter" which counts the number of unique visitors, as well as the number of "page views" (individual pages viewed by one visitor in the course of a single visit to the site). Site Meter also collects additional information, similar to the Server Logs, which can be used to create statistics in graphical form, e.g. a pie chart showing the different Web Browsers used to view the site.

E-mail: There are links on this site which allow visitors to send E-mail messages to the site administrators or other officers of the Railway. These links have been obfuscated to prevent automatic "harvesting" of the E-mail addresses by "spam-bots". Regular visitors are able to click the links to send E-mail in the usual way.

Data Protection Act 1984: If you send us an E-mail, your E-mail address and any other personal details included in the message will be used to deal with your enquiry and will be archived on computer.
