The Merioneth & Llantisily Rail Traction Company Limited is a standard gauge heritage railway in the top left-hand corner of Wales.

Ivor the Engine

Ivor the Engine visits NLR.

Ivor the Engine is a children's animation by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin's Smallfilms company. It is a children's television series relating the adventures of a small green locomotive who lived in the "top left-hand corner of Wales" and worked for the Merioneth and Llantisily Railway Traction Company Limited. His friends included Jones the Steam, Evans the Song and Dai Station, among many other characters.

Timetable

The Railway will operate as two separate "lines" during this event. "Ivor's Branch Line" will operate from Platform 2 and run to the North with a frequent service. The "Main Line" will operate from Platform 1 and will run to the Peak Timetable with departures at the following times:

11:00 11:45 12:30 13:30 14:15 15:00 15:45.

Privacy Policy

This gives details of what information is collected from visitors to the website, and how it is used. No information which could be used to identify an individual is collected without that individual's permission.

Server Logs: Whenever a page, image, or other document is requested from the server by a visitor's web browser, a log is kept which lists information such as the date, time, IP Address, Browser type, and referring URL (if any). Site Meter: This site uses the services of sitemeter.com as an extension of the basic "web counter" which counts the number of unique visitors, as well as the number of "page views" (individual pages viewed by one visitor in the course of a single visit to the site). Site Meter also collects additional information, similar to the Server Logs, which can be used to create statistics in graphical form, e.g. a pie chart showing the different Web Browsers used to view the site.
