	The Classic and Sports Car Show: celebrates a golden age of motoring, from veteran and vintage cars, to some of today's classics, and everything in between, including classic motorcycles and period caravans. • Date: Sunday 8th June 2008.

	The Railway at War 1940's Weekend: is a celebration of a bygone age. The army is on leave for the weekend and they have taken over the Railway. The war is forgotten and even rationing can't spoil the fun! • Date: 20th and 21st September 2008.

Other 2008 Events at Northampton & Lamport Railway

• "Day Out With Thomas" events dates to be confirmed (usually 3 events per year).
• March 22^nd - 24^th — Easter Egg Specials — Each child receives a free creme egg on the train.
• May 24^th - 25^th — Teddy Bears' Holiday — Any child under 16 accompanied by a Teddy Bear travels free.
• Autumn (Date to be announced) — Diesel Gala — All trains hauled by our fleet of main line diesel locomotives, plus visitors.
• November 30^th and December 6^th - 21^st (Saturdays and Sundays) — Santa's Special Trains — Visit Santa in his Magical Grotto, followed by seasonal refreshments on the train.
• December 28^th and January 1^st 2009— Mince Pie Specials — See in the new year with a day out at the Railway.
